This book is a collection of theses written by Hitoshi Nakata in his early 30’s for six years from September 1969 to October 1981.Sartre and Beauvoir are philosophers and men of letter and a major epidemic who were actively studied until 40 years ago when these essays are written. There is a possibility that even the name may have been forgotten because there is not so much popularity. So it is not meaningless to trace once again the footprints that Sartre and Beauvoir left behind. Of course, “Sartre-Beauvoir theory” was written nearly 40 years ago, and I am sincerely hoping that the contents are not completely out of date.
The five submissions are below.
- The Existential Psychoanalysis of Stéphane Mallarmé – Commentary of “Mallarmé 1842-1898”
- Consideration of Sartre’s adolescence
- “Another who loses wins” – THE VERITABLE SAINT-GENEST by Jean Rotrou – structure and meaning –
- From melodrama to psychodrama: “Kean” by Sartre and “Kean” by Dumas
- Beauvoir and her time
